NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- A twitter hashtag intended to get Ray Rice signed to an NFL team this season was launched today.

The hashtag #RayRice2ndChance is accompanied by a logo made of emojis bearing Rice's signature bicep flex and two hands clapping.

The logo might be seen as in poor taste considering that Rice has been persona-non-grate in the NFL every since video of Ray Rice punching his then-fiance, now-wife Janay Rice and knocking her unconscious in an Atlantic City elevator.
