NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Pianists Matthew Harrison and Vlada Yaneva return to the Ossie Davis Theater at the New Rochelle Public Library for another dazzling “Masterworks Conversation” concert on Sunday, April 17th, from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Performing “Frontiers of American Music,” the musicians will play beloved classics, interspersed with a lively narrative.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- 2015 New Rochelle Annual Report Released

City Remains a Top Safest Regionally and Nationally

The City of New Rochelle retained its ranking as one of the safest cities nationally in 2014, according to the 2015 Annual Report released this week by the New Rochelle Police Department.

The City was the 13th safest city nationwide in 2014 out of 110 similarly-sized cities (population 80,000- 99,999). Additionally, the City of New Rochelle retains the lowest crime rate among similar municipalities in Westchester County and New York State.

NEW YORK, NY -- The New York State Department of Labor today released preliminary local area unemployment rates for February 2016. Rates are calculated as prescribed by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The State’s area unemployment rates rely in part on the results of the Current Population Survey, which contacts approximately 3,100 households in New York State each month.
