NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Each Wednesday during July and the first two weeks of August, the New Rochelle Public Library offers free films and live performances for children in the air-conditioned Ossie Davis Theater. 

On Wednesday, July 19th, the “Film for the Younger Set” series will feature Octonauts – Slime Time.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Japanese dance and music will be featured at the New Rochelle Public Library’s International Music and Dance series on Tuesday, July 18th at 7:00 pm. Admission is free and limited to the capacity of the library’s Ossie Davis Theater, on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 6:45 pm.

WHITE PLAINS, NY -- County Executive Robert P. Astorino will welcome thousands of people from around Westchester to celebrate our nation’s independence  with live music and one of the area’s most stunning fireworks shows at the annual Music Fest and Fireworks on Monday, July 3, at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.

“Celebrating the Fourth a day early with live entertainment and a spectacular fireworks show and a picnic on Kensico’s lawn with friends and family is a great way to kick off the summer,” Astorino said.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- This July 4th, cap off your holiday evening with a viewing of the grand fireworks display at the New Rochelle waterfront. Produced and sponsored by the famous Grucci family, the City of New Rochelle’s annual “Spark the Sound” extravaganza starts at 9:30 pm, rain or shine. Optimum viewing locations are Hudson Park, Five Islands Park, and waterfront restaurants.
