Astorino Announces Free Fall Flu Shots for Westchester Residents

WHITE PLAINS, NY -- County Executive Robert P. Astorino announced that the Westchester County Health Department will give free flu shots to college students and residents at two locations next month in Valhalla and White Plains.

“Sign up for a flu shot today,” said County Executive Robert P. Astorino. “The earlier you get your flu shot, the longer you will be protected and flu season can run until May.”

Five New Rochelle Men, One Mount Vernon Man Charged with Stealing Unemployment Benefits

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Six seasonal workers, five from New Rochelle, were arraigned in White Plains City Court on September 14, 2017 and charged with the theft of unemployment benefits.

Federico Martinez, Cesar Martinez and Hector Torres were working at Almstead Tree and Shrub Care located in New Rochelle. Christian Munguia and Alvaro Munguia were working at the Ardsley Country Club in Ardsley-On-Hudson. Armando Escobar was working at AG Williams Painting located in Pelham.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Arline B. Pampel of New Rochelle passed away suddenly on January 29, 2017. She was 77. Born in Queens on September 27, 1939 to Daniel & Helen Lisa. Arline is survived by her loving sisters Judith Chrzanowski, Dianne Pacuk (John) & Helene Manfro (John), cherished grandson Nicolas Scopoletti and dear son-in-law Robert Scopoletti. She was predeceased by her cherished daughter Lisa Scopoletti and beloved husband Russ Pampel. To honor her life, family and friends will gather on Thursday from 4-8pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 767 E. Boston Post Rd.
