New Rochelle Eyes Playoffs After Fifth Straight Shutout

October 15, 2017 - 10:51

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- Saturday wasn't the first time Jonathan Saddler had heard the message and Monday won't be the first time he heeds it. Still, when New Rochelle coach Lou DiRienzo spoke in the postgame huddle, his words were met with clear eyes and nodding heads.

The regular season was nice, but, to the Huguenots, the games yet to be played are what really counts.

New Playground at Trinity a Hit

October 14, 2017 - 17:10

NEW ROCHELLE, NY -- When the students at Trinity Elementary School returned from summer recess, they couldn't wait to put their school's brand new playground to the recess test.

The impressively upgraded activity area is situated in Trinity's back courtyard and includes four slides, an array of horizontal and angled monkey bars and rope- and wall-climbing stations, all erected over a rubberized safety surface. Needless to say, the new playground has sparked the imaginations and enthusiasm of Trinity's students.
