Adam Pascal & Anthony Rapp LIVE!

Written By: Talk of the Sound News

Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, iconic Broadway entertainers, will perform on Monday, October 20th at the Emelin Theatre in Mamaroneck, NY. This one-night-only engagement is the only local pairing of these talented musicians. Proceeds from the concert benefit The Guidance Center of Westchester.

Pascal and Rapp burst to fame as the original stars of RENT, playing Roger Davis and Mark Cohen, respectively. After headlining the National Tour and the film, it seemed as though their days of performing together were over. Then, they teamed up again in 2011 for a series of sold-out concerts which showcased their pop/rock vocal talents. Their onstage interaction, re-imagined arrangements and dynamic stage presence thrilled critics and fans alike.

Rapp is currently in the award-winning If/Then and previously starred in “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” and “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.” He’s the author of “Without You: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and the Musical RENT.” Pascal performed in “Aida,” “Cabaret” and “Chess.” He’s also appeared in television shows and movies, including “School of Rock.” He has released two rock albums.

Mezzanine ($75) and orchestra ($125) seats are available through the Emelin Theatre (www.Emelin.org – 914-698-0098). Special VIP tickets ($350) are available through The Guidance Center of Westchester. VIP tickets include preferred seating and a reception with the stars after the show. VIP tickets are limited. Doors open at 6:30 pm for a silent auction, and the show begins promptly at 7:30 pm. (www.TheGuidanceCenter.org or 914-613-0739)

The performance, entitled No Day But October 20th, is a benefit for the mental health programs of The Guidance Center of Westchester. TGCW’s mental health programs reach people of all ages through individual, family and group counseling. TGCW was the first Westchester agency to have a Personalized Recovery-Oriented Services (PROS) program. PROS helps adults with mental illness develop and achieve goals that enable them to live independently, work, socialize, develop healthy relationships, or achieve education, training or wellness goals.
