John Condelario Obituary

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — John L. Condelario, a longtime resident of New Rochelle died on October 17, 2015. He was 87.

John was born on December 14, 1927 in Puerto Rico to the late John and Grace (Saunders) Candelario. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American legion Post 8, The Knights of Columbus, the Hugh Doyle Senior Center and the Korean Veterans Assoc. Chapter 91 and volunteered at the Schaeffer Extended Care as entertainers and was an Usher at Blessed Sacrament Church. He worked for over 30 years at Hill Sails on City Island as a yacht interior designer. He is survived by his companion of 20 years, Dolores Shutts; his daughter Donna Spearman; his son John N. Condelario; his granddaughter Jennifer LaSante and his grandson Duane Spearman, Jr. and his two great-grandchildren.

Visiting will be Friday 3-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday at 9:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.
