Dog Bites Family Member: New Rochelle Police responded to a report of a Dog Bite at 330 Union Avenue in New Rochelle on September 13th at about 4:00 p.m.

The complainant told police the family dog bit him on the hand and wrist. He had bite marks on his right wrist. The dog had valid paperwork and police did not observe any vicious or threatening behavior from the dog.

Identity Theft Leads to Tax Fraud: New Rochelle Police responded to a report of a Fraud at an address on Division Street in New Rochelle on September 13th at about noon.

Complainant stated that an unknown person opened an account with PenFed, a credit union, and a money market account and a checking account at M&T Bank. She said her 2014 tax refund was not issued to her and she has notified the IRS.

Drake Avenue Groper: New Rochelle Police responded to a report of Groping on Drake Avenue on September 13th at about 9:00 a.m.

The complainant told police she was walking on Drake Avenue near Pelham Road when she felt a hand grab her buttocks from behind. She observed a Male/Hispanic run past her after grabbing her buttocks. The suspect was in his 30’s, wearing a khaki green shirt, blue shirts and white sneakers.

Teen Reported in West End Bar: New Rochelle Police responded to a report of an underage person, a 14 year old girl, in the El Agave Azul bar on Washington Avenue on September 13th at about 1:00 a.m.

Police canvassed the location but did not observe an underage person in the bar.
